In this episode the crew gets together to discuss #Amazon #PrimeVideo #Them. The series follows a #black family’s first ten days in an all white neighborhood in 1953, #Compton. Being that this was a period piece, it’s always nice to see the creators stay true to the time. One of the bright sides of the writing was that the creators put just enough ostentatious historical events and practices to make the audience reconsider whether or not this is based on a #truestory. The family’s home becomes ground zero for evil. Whether it’s the malevolent forces that torment the family’s insecurities until they are manifested into demons that haunt them. Or the expected harassment from the neighborhood’s Bugle Boys Brigade and The Pleated Posse, the family is pushed to their limits by these unmelinated forces and well #watchyagondo. The series is similar to that of an #AmericanHorrorStory so the story will likely change from season to season but the faces will remain the same. Season is definitely worth watching. It picks up after episode 5 but continues to keep you enthralled from thereon. As usually a few of the storylines made it on our #shortbus but there’s enough to make it not a waste of time.
