The Tomorrow War (Belly of The Beast)

In this episode, the crew gets together to discuss the latest original #motionpicture from #AmazonPrimeVideo, #TheTomorrowWar. That title is half way to a tongue twister. The movie stars #ChrisPratt who has definitely shed all resemblance of #Andy from #ParksandRec and is a full fledged #action hero. Although, comically, his deliveries are very #GaurdianoftheGalaxy. Hopefully one of those tags hit and takes this episode to the moon #melvoice. Anyway, the movie is about a war being found in the future, hence the name. Soldiers like the one played by #YvonneStrahovski travel from the year 2051 to today to recruit civilians like #SamRichardson and #EdwinHodge, to help them fight a war against an #alien species that whooping humanity’s ass. I’m talking #Ike beating #Tina to #whoopdattrick level Ass whooping. From story to execution we have to tip our hats to #Amazon. The movie was definitely enjoyable, slightly on that #Kraft #macandcheese level in some scenes, but if you make it through the cringe your will love this flick. Moreover the writers stayed true to #social norms. Regardless of the species a #woman, knowing she’s dead wrong, would rather chew off her own arm, than let a #man win a fight. #pettyassfemales.
