In this week’s episode, the crew gets together to discuss #Spiral. The movie is currently in #theaters and is also available for #rent on #Appletv and let’s face it we all dropped $20 on worse. The revives the #Saw saga and picks up with a new #copycat #killer who takes aim at the corrupt police department. It’s a timely spin on the #horror movie genre. With #police #brutality and #corruption being so heavily reported on in recent years, it makes this one just a bit more relatable. The movie #stars #ChrisRock as the lead detective in solving the murders of his fellow officers and he wasn’t that bad. We mean he wasn’t good and if it wasn’t for slight comedic breaks he would be #trash but it was a bearable performance. The man couldn’t even #pooky correctly so we think it’s a fair assessment of his performance. #MaxMinghella who played his partner was extremely predictable and if you wait for this to end up on #HBOMAX like everything else, you will see why. Overall this was a decent flick to watch when out of options. The #soundtrack is another story, definitely needs to be on everyone’s playlist. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
