Soul

Soul

Once You Go Black You Never Go Back

In this episode the crew get together to discuss Soul. This is a Disney and Pixar animation and they stayed true to some of the typical traits of the movie. For example someone dies, we process death and life, etc. Unfortunately, none of the adult female characters had that WAAAAAGON we’ve come to expect of a Pixar animation (s/o Mrs. incredible). Nonetheless the movie questions out purpose vs our passion and how they help shape us. It also shows what happens when a passion becomes an obsession. With the advances in technology, and kids getting exposed to screens earlier and earlier, we thought this was an important point in the film. Hopefully it sparks a conversation in your home when you watch it. Expect the usually jest and humor as we tackle the topics that arose in the film. Enjoy, and have the conversation with your family.
