In this episode the crew gets together and discuss Netflix’s original movie Malcom and Marie. The movie is familiar to ever couple, or at least, every man. It’s the fight she chooses to have when you are at peak happiness. It’s at that point that she decides that thing that’s “not a big deal”, “was ok” is suddenly not and you need to hear about it. But not before she makes u pry it out of her so she can say “you started it”. If it feels personal, or familiar, you’re not a virgin. The movie takes on a minimalist approach with John David and Zendaya not only being the two actors of note but the only actors in the film period. Movies like this MUST have a strong dialogue and actors who can keep an audience’s attention via delivery and cadence alone. To this regard the film doesn’t disappoint. It’s the hate to love you, drive you crazy but can’t do without, knock down, pick up, low blows, hurt words, and tender kisses that makes you love someone. Go on the roller coaster, bring your partner, do not have the conversation though it won’t end well.
