In this episode the crew gets together to discuss Netflix’s I Care A Lot. The movie is sort of like white Bamboozled, a Wamboozled if you will. The movie stars #RosamundPike who plays a court appointed guardian who basically strips the people she’s appointed to care for of everything to fund her lifestyle. The crazy shit is, it’s legal and business is booming. The worse part it’s a whole ring, everyone’s in on it, except maybe the judge. #Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt maybe not. Either way the movie takes jabs of the patriarchal construct of power. The powerful man is reaches maybe the knee of the woman in power. It’s funny in a clever way but not pretentious, it’s dark but not emo, it’s balanced. But still because these things really happen in today’s world, it’s scary.
