Free Guy (Son of A Glitch)

In this episode the crew gets together to discuss #FreeGuy currently in #theaters. The movie is the latest #action, #romance, #comedy film staring #RyanReynolds. The movie takes place in a video game world sort of like #Sims. A hidden feature within the game however causes Ryan, who plays a background bank teller named Guy to want more out of his mundane life than being robbed by #gun toting #vagabonds. In an attempt to save #simulated world, he winds up falling for one of his creators #MolotovGirl who is played by #JodieComer. The movie seems to play with society’s obsession to escape reality by way of technology. From our #iphones, to #robitc #AI life partners, society seems to be looking for an escape. Free guy is the opposite end of the spectrum, where it explores the idea of the video game characters developing #human like desires. Let us know what you think.
