In this episode the crew got together to discuss a kinda sorta maybe long awaited sequel but more like a remake or a reimagining of a classic???? We reviewed Coming 2 America. First, the movie is absolutely enjoyable. Whether it’s the nostalgia for seeing old characters emerge again (s/o to the Barbershop..get it lol) or the presentation of strong women in a matriarchal society, it’s not a regrettable watch. It’s hard to call it a sequel because you don’t really need to see the first to enjoy it. Old men in a barbershop being politically incorrect is still something that happens today. Case in point...this podcast. It’s raunchy enough to keep adults attention but clean enough that you don’t have to any of the “talks” with the children (or do mi nuh care a fi yuh pikney dem).
